UA Enterprise uses Microsoft SQL Server for data storage. Stored procedures, triggers and User Defined Functions (UDF’s) are used extensively to improve performance and reduce client-side processing. Security is handled by either Integrated Windows security or by SQL Server’s own security model.

UA Enterprise is written in Microsoft Access and makes use of the VBA programming language. Because Access is part of Microsoft Office, there is built-in capability to perform exports, imports, charting, mail merges, and pivot table creation.

Payroll: Payroll is only adequate for small companies with the simplest of needs. If payroll is a key part of your business and is handled in-house, this may not be the package for you.

Fixed Assets: Very basic. Keeps track of fixed assets and calculates depreciation. Does not pass calculation to General Ledger.
